  • Mandatory temperature checks of all employees prior to the start of their shift. Workers who do not feel well will not be permitted to work.
  • Sanitization of ride seats and restraints after use.

Service Animals

During the 6 days of the Okeechobee County Fair, pets are not allowed on the Fairgrounds, with the exception of service animals, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or animals approved as part of an exhibition. Service dogs are those that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
